Happy Catholic Schools Week! Sunday marks the beginning of Catholic Schools Week. This is a special week set aside to celebrate our Catholic Schools. This year’s theme is Catholic Schools: Dividends for Life.
On Sunday you may see students, dressed in their uniform, speaking before Mass or bringing up the gifts. We are so grateful for the parishioner support that is given to our school!
One new activity that I’m adding to my classroom’s activities for the week, is a Skype phone call with 2 other Catholic schools. We will be Skyping in with a 2nd grade classroom from Michigan.
We will also be Skyping with a 3rd grade class from Pennsylvania.
One of my goals, in connecting with these students, is to show the universality of the Catholic church to my students.
