Looks like I’m ready to go! It’s the night before the first day of school. I know my students are excited, but so is their teacher. I can’t wait to begin another year at my school. I am so fortunate to work alongside a wonderful principal, my co-workers and with my student’s parents.

As I begin this year with 31 bright eyed and eager third grade students, I can’t help but think of my own sons. They are now, all 3, in college. I remember back when they were 3rd graders. It know time flies, but really…time flies!

We are setting off on new adventures. Room 113 has me as their teacher and lead learner. My sons, with their parents standing aside,  and letting them put into practice what we have taught them by word and example. It’s going to be quite the year and I’m ready to lend a helping hand if needed.
